Cooped up at home? Check out Bottega Veneta's new entertainment platform
As the world continues to grapple with the coronavirus pandemic, daily routines accept been upended, and cocky-isolation and social distancing accept get the new norm.
Recognising that staying home and being abroad from others tin exist rather stressful and depressing, Italian label Bottega Veneta hopes to spread joy and positivity with the launch of a multi-platform virtual residency.

Dubbed Bottega Residency, the platform offers content, amusement, music and art on a weekly basis. Each week, the platform lends a space to collaborators, talents and muses, who volition share works that inspire them, such as films, music or art.
On weekends, the platform will host cooking segments from chefs and live music performances. Sundays are catered to movie nights, hosted in collaboration with a movie industry partner.
Explaining the motivation backside the launch of the initiative, Daniel Lee, the label's creative managing director said, "Creativity and strength lie at the eye of Bottega Veneta. In this highly distressing fourth dimension, we feel a responsibility to celebrate those values and ignite a sense of joy and hope in our customs and beyond."

The virtual residency kicked off on March 24 with none other than Lee as the first contributor. Lee took over the platform to cast the spotlight on the creative minds that have inspired him – creative person David Hockney, manager Steven Spielberg and choreographer Maurice Bejart.
On Saturday (Mar 28), chef Laila Gohar shared the recipe for her Simple Greens dish. Future curators will see a mix of some of Bottega's closest collaborators and newer, emerging artists.
